Mothers Day

15 Mar 2019

This year, Mother’s Day is on Sunday 31st March. A day when it has become traditional to treat your mum as a way of thanking her for everything she’s done for you.

There are plenty of ways of showing your mum how much she means to you, whether you’re going to take her out for lunch or afternoon tea, send her flowers and/or wine and/or another gift, or turn up on her doorstep for a surprise visit.

Mother’s Day in Camden

If you live in Camden you will soon have a brand new Post Office & UOE Store! Opening on Friday 29th March, it has moved just a couple of doors down from the old Post Office to 124 Camden High Street. The new store has been modernised and, in addition to all the services you’d expect in a main Post Office, you can buy all the design-led stationery, greetings cards and novelty gifts we know your mum will love!

Mother’s Day Cards

It isn’t necessary to make a grand gesture to show your mum how much you think of her. Sometimes it’s the little things that mean the most, and a lovely handwritten personal message inside a beautiful card will probably please her far more than an expensive extravagance. (Although she probably wouldn’t say no if you wanted to buy her something amazing!)

Pop down to your local UOE Store & Post Office where you can choose your card from our great selection of Mother’s Day cards and post it on the same day too!

Mother’s Day Gifts

One speciality of UOE Stores is designer-led stationery – and who doesn’t love nice stationery! If your mum has always talked about wanting to write a diary or a book of poetry, encourage her with a Moleskine notebook or Lamy pen.

Or maybe she’d prefer something that makes her laugh, in which case, we’ve also got a great selection of novelty gifts from mugs to inflatable crowns! Well she deserves to be Queen for the day doesn’t she?

Pop in to your nearest UOE store to get something special for your special mum.
