Amazon Pickup Locations - Collecting and returning parcels

Don’t risk being out when ordering something online – use the Post Office Local Collect service

  • Collecting parcels

When you order from Amazon, it can be annoying if no-one’s in when they try to deliver and you then have to make a special journey to go and collect your parcel at a sorting office. Amazon have thought about this and they now offer the Pickup Locations option.

You can choose to have your goods delivered to one of our UOE Post Offices which you can then collect at a time that’s convenient for you – and the great news is that many of our stores are open 7 days a week, and before and after normal office hours.

When you come to collect your goods, remember to bring the barcode reference with you as well as some identification and a proof of address, e.g. driving licence, passport, recent utility bill.

  • Returning goods

If you need to return goods, then it’s a simple process of packing them up securely (reusing the original packaging if possible). Most companies will include a pre-printed address label you can use, but if not, we can print one out for you from the QR Code on the email or paperwork.

Most companies pay for the return of goods, so all you’ll need to do is hand your parcel in at one of our Post Office counters and let our friendly team do the rest!
