Good transport links from Hertford to London

Hertford is a great place for small businesses. It’s just outside London so you avoid paying London rents, but close enough to the capital to make it straightforward to get to business meetings. Our offices to rent are in a great location in the centre of this buzzing market town.

    • Trains – there are two railway stations with frequent services into London serving the City and North London stations. Hertford East – the nearest to The Hub – goes via Broxbourne, Cheshunt and Tottenham Hale before terminating at London Liverpool Street; whilst Hertford North calls at Finsbury Park where you can easily get a connecting train to London Kings Cross or stay onboard for London Moorgate.
    • Roads – Hertford lies between the A10 and the A1, with easy access to the M25 and M11.
  • Parking

    Remote Working

In recent times, working practices have changed, many permanently. During the first lockdown, nearly half the UK population worked from home and it has been predicted that by 2022, 60% of employees will regularly work remotely.

But what if it’s not really convenient to work from home? Not everyone has enough space to turn a spare room into a home office, or build one in the garden. If you live in a noisy household, work better with people around you, or you just want to keep your work and home life entirely separate, look for a serviced office space like the Hertford UOE Hub.

It’s friendly and quiet which allows me to focus on my work, away from the distractions of working at home or the interruptions to concentration working in a café.

With The Hub being the perfect place for small businesses to work and grow, and The Business Allotment’s strategy and training designed to do the same, by joining forces we can really help the local business community go from strength to strength

Jodie Newman

I set up my company working from home but as I started to acquire new clients I needed a better option. The extra productivity from having a place to work away from home effectively pays for the office itself. I’ve been here a year, during which there has been continued investment into the facilities by the office management. I would definitely recommend to anyone considering it.
