Post Office Drop & Go

Maybe you’re a small online business or a prolific eBayer, in which case you’ll probably be fed up with standing at the counter and filling in the forms. At busy periods you’ll probably also feel a bit guilty for holding up the people behind you in the queue.

By using the Post Office’s Drop & Go service, you can fill in a manifest form in the comfort of your home or office and just drop off your parcels at the fast-track counter. Your parcels will be weighed and processed and we’ll send them that day (cut off times for same day vary at each store so please confirm at branch). If you want them to be tracked or get a certificate of posting, we’ll keep the receipts which you can pick up next time you’re in. As our counter staff process your parcels, they’ll take the payment from a prepaid card which you can top up online or at the counter. International items must have a customs declaration if larger than letter size or containing any item of commercial value.

It’s a simple, easy and quick way of sending a lot of parcels on a regular basis.

By using the Drop & Go service, you can turn up at any time that’s convenient to you and simply drop your parcels and your completed manifest at the counter.

It’ll also give us a chance to serve other customers more quickly and we can process your parcels when there are fewer customers in the Store. Much more convenient for everyone concerned!

All you have to do is sign up for an account, and, as long as your card is topped up, you can begin using Drop & Go straight away.

More importantly, the Drop & Go service is free of charge, so it’ll cost you the same as it would if you did everything at the counter. And if there’s a queue – even a short queue – you’ll save lots of time, freeing you up to devote more time to your core business.
